In her career, she has opened eight newly constructed assisted living communities and transitioned seven communities into compliance in Hawaii and the Mainland. Medeiros also has an extensive background in working with Dementia and has served a variety of functions (including Chairman) on the Alzheimer’s Association (Aloha Chapter)’s Board of Directors.
Tricia has been instrumental in The Plaza Assisted Living’s continued growth since the company’s inception is 2004. She was the first employee for the Plaza brand and has helped to shepherd the company for the past sixteen years with the highest level of integrity, respect, and compassion – values that can be found in all aspects of The Plaza’s operations. Tricia’s contagious work ethic and guidance have allowed the Plaza to grow, continually improve, and become a leader in the assisted living industry.
Under Tricia’s leadership, The Plaza has grown to include 5 assisted living communities operating throughout Oahu, with another community under development. All totaled, these 6 Plaza communities serve and care for more than 700 senior residents. Today, The Plaza’s numerous assisted living communities employ over 500 associates and share the distinction of having cared for and supported over 4,000 of Hawaii’s seniors and their families, in its first 16 years.
