Frank Brodrick

Food Service Director

Frank Brodrick is the Food Service Director at The Plaza at Waikiki. His food service career started while attending college to obtain his Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a minor in Aviation Management.  Frank worked in every restaurant position, from bus boy and dishwasher, to the general manager.

After 15 years of mostly Italian restaurants, Frank was recruited as the Executive Chef of Boston Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts for a Food Service Management company named Morrison Management. After 1.5 years at Boston Medical Center, Morrison moved Frank into their performance and improvement team for all new upcoming kitchens. He found himself opening over fifteen new accounts for the company along the East Coast until they moved him to California with Eisenhower Medical Center, Children’s Hospital Oakland and finally Twin Cities Community Hospital.

Frank worked at different local hospitals and care facilities such as Pali Momi Medical Center as the Executive Chef, Avalon Care Center in Kalihi as the Dining Director, at Oceanside Senior Dining in Hauula as the Food Service Director. Prior to The Plaza at Waikiki, he was the Executive Chef at Buzz’s Steakhouse in Kailua, where he made the change back to his passion for fine food in senior dining.
