Walena Tolo

Business Office Manager

Walena Tolo is the Business office Manager at the Plaza at Moanalua and is responsible for managing human resources, employee compliance, payroll, the concierge team and accounting operations of the community.

Born and raised in American Samoa, Walena moved to Oahu in 2003 to attend Chaminade University of Honolulu where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science.

Prior to joining the Plaza management team Walena worked for two of the largest worldwide automotive companies where she held the titles of District Financial Manager, District Administrator, Operations Manager and Customer Experience Manager. Walena was responsible for overseeing District processes, provided financial and operational leadership for the District, planning and organizing Business plan, managed human resources, payroll, accounting, audits, lead the sales team, the administrative team, customer service representatives where she coached, trained and built winning teams.

Due to career goals and professional growth Walena has joined the Plaza at Moanalua management team bringing a broad set of skills where she will utilize by adding Value and be a positive change for the team and residents.
